Aeonian Adventures #00-A1: An Untimely Awakening

The rumbling and awakening of the ancient “Engine of War”, caused an old entity that slept in the “The Old Forest” of the Broken to awaken from its slumber and begin to terrify the village around it. The village’s yearly tradition and festival used to keep the monster in chains until now, but currently they are left in shock as to what they should do. The Head Elder pushes for the traditional ritual to be performed, while other more innovative visitors believe that due to the effect of such unseen forces a different kind of ritual needs to be formed for the monster to be lulled back to sleep – for destroying it would spell disaster in the shrine nearby that it is connected to.
